The EU Green Week is Europe’s biggest annual conference on environment policy, bringing together participants from government, industry, non-governmental organisations, academia and the media for a unique exchange of ideas and best practice.
This year’s edition of the EU Green Week will explore ways in which the EU is helping cities to become better places to live and work. Presenting policy developments on air quality, noise, nature and biodiversity, waste and water management, it will promote participatory approaches to urban development, networking schemes, and tools for sharing best practices, engaging local authorities and citizens, and encouraging them to share their vision of a sustainable future.
The week will officially open on the 21st May in Utrecht and will close on the 25th May in Madrid. A high level EU Green Cities Summit will take place from the 22nd to the 24th May in Brussels.
Before and during the week various events will be organized by partners across Europe. EuPC is proud to host its Building and Construction Forum on the 24th May in Milan as an official partner event of the EU Green Week 2018. Under the headline “Sustainable Performance of Buildings”, EuPC will gather major representatives of the European plastics converting industry, local and national authorities, machinery producers and media to explore how plastic construction products contribute to the Circular Economy and to Greener Cities.
